The Clients came to us after they sustained dramatic fire damage to a faulty electrical connection that triggered the gas lines in the front master bedroom of their home in Narangba. The home being of an indicative 20 year plus age.

Fortunately, no one was injured and as they were home at the time the fire was contained for the most part to this area when fire fighters arrived and services were disconnected by the power and gas companies.

The damage is obvious but there is also the carcinogenic after affects that fire does to a home, its structural elements, and the furniture of the home. Its imperative any works are done correctly and as best practice to avoid any future health impacts on the residents.

Zeal Homes sanitized and rectified or replaced any structural items in the home that were affected by the fire damage and its poisoning from charring and smoke ingress. We made good the gas lines, the electrical and checked all services for workability and bringing up to current codes

Zeal Homes was able to provide a fixed price quote for the clients for the works required to remedy and schedule works within a very quick timeframe for the owners, the tenants, and the agents in charge. So as not to impact on the tenants moving back in and adding further loss of rental income for the Landlord.

We were able to deliver this project and its delicate nature back to the owners on time and on budget which is very important considering the nature of protecting the interests of all parties
